Nature Safari - MV Nautica (4 days / 4 nights)


Safari Itinerary: Phuket - Kawthaung - Island No.115 - Ma Kyone Galet (Bo Cho Island) - Great Swinton Island (Pilar Kyunn) - Bolder Island (Buddha Bay) - Macleod Island (Andaman Resort) - Kawthaung - Phuket
 
Departure Day

Pick up transfer from your hotel within Phuket or Phuket Airport or Khao Lak. Transfer to the pier at Tablamu. Arriving at Tablamu pier and embark M/ V Nautica around 18.00 hrs. Sip your welcome cocktail, listen to the boat briefing and check into your cabin. Dinner will be served while cruising the west coast of Thailand.
 

Day 1 Arriving at the "Multi Purpose Port" in Ranong early morning. After breakfast checkout from Thailand. Cross the Pakchan River to Kawthaung and check-in to Myanmar. (Note: Immigration formalities for both border check points will be conveniently cleared onboard MV Nautica). Lunch onboard while departure from Kawthaung for our first stop to the "Island no 115 (The Three Islets)". Dinner onboard MV Nautica and overnight in-front of "Island No 115".
Day 2 After breakfast option to take the sea kayak to explore the area or join a short jungle walk across the island to the beach at the north side. Swimming and snorkelling at the beautiful house reef is a must. Whilst having lunch we will continue the cruise to the largest Salone/Moken settlement in the area called Ma Kyone Galet on Bo Cho Island. Learn about the village life and take scenic pictures from the Pagoda located on the hill overlooking the entire village. Dinner onboard and overnight cruise to Great Swinton (Pilar Kyunn) Island.
Day 3 After breakfast take the sea kayak or rubber dinghy and cross the bay to a small islet about 2 km in-front of Iguana Bay, circum navigate the island and enjoy the magnificent views or discover what kind of corals and fish you can find in the crystal clear water. Around noon we will continue our safari while having lunch further south to reach Bolder (Buddha Bay) Island. The vast granite boulders and rock formations around the island make an ideal back drop for your photo album.
Explore various secluded beaches on the about 1 sqkm island, join a jungle trek through the island or just breathe in the nature around you. Late afternoon we will cross over to "Nabucco's Andaman Resort" on "Macleod Island". After a short
visit at the Island we will get back onboard of Nautica for dinner. MV Nautica will depart for an overnight cruise back to Kawthaung (2.5 -3 hours). Overnight on MV Nautica.
Day 4 After breakfast disembark the boat and take part in a short sightseeing tour around the bustling border town. Stroll through the lively market near the Jetty, visit the famous "Victoria Point", the most southern tip of Myanmar's mainland, photo stop at the King "Bayint Naung" statue, who is famous in Burmese history for invading and destroying Ayudhaya in old Siam. Visit the "Pyi Daw Aye Pagoda" with scenic views across the river to Ranong and finish the tour with a short drive through the fishermen settlements on the outskirts of the town. Embark Nautica check-out Myanmar and cross the Pakchan River to Ranong and check-in to Thailand. After lunch onboard it is time to say good bye to the Crew. Travel early afternoon by Minibuses to Khao Lak, Phuket Airport or to your hotel within Phuket.

Note: The route depends on the weather conditions, flight availability, tidal movements, political Situation in Myanmar and the decisions of Captain and Cruise Director with considering the desires and safety of the guests.
